THE OPPORTUNITY
Mulu Community Organizers create a tangible presence and for Mulu in local communities in key markets across the country. Community organizers develop relationships with influencers, retail partnerships and identify event opportunities with ‘boot on the ground’ helping more and more people curate for their favorite causes.
With user acquisition and brand awareness always in mind, our Community Organizer can count on spear heading all local marketing activities including:
• Retail relationships and partnerships (hotels, store, coffee shops, theaters)
• Local nonprofit and community outreach
• Event planning and production
• Local PR and communication
ABOUT YOU
Our ideal Community Organizer has certain amiable qualities such as:
• An unmatched knowledge of the city and a firm belief NYC is king among metropolises
• A natural ability to build relationships with local businesses, media, bloggers, organizations, fans and people-about-town (existing relationships are a huge plus)
• A flair for social media, videography and unique forms of communication
Candidates should have the ability to work from anywhere independently and should have the following basic qualifications:
• College degree
• 2 to 4 years of post-college work experience
• Demonstrated success with consumer facing social media, marketing, PR and events
• At least two years of NYC residency
Since Mulu is a rapidly growing startup, the candidate should be a dynamic, self-starter who is hard working, positive, detail-oriented, independent, and thrives in a fast paced environment.
This is a full-time contract position for the right person with an hourly base rate and bonus opportunities!
