EFFECT Partners, Inc., a Minneapolis marketing company, has partnered with Glad Products to challenge tailgaters at the USC v Stanford game to reduce waste by going “One Bagâ€.
Brand Activists will educate tailgaters on how to reduce waste on game day by helping them recycle and compost, and challenge them to produce only one bag of trash destined for landfill.
Here are the details:
• Duties: Participate as a Brand Activist at the USC campus and coliseum to manage volunteers and help tailgaters go “One Bag†in your assigned tailgating zone.
• Shifts: 8 hours (10:00a – 6:00p) *subject to change
• Training: Onsite upon arrival. Pre-event Phone Training week of 10/24 TBD
• Activity Dates: Oct. 29th 10a – 6p
• Pay: $18.00 per hour (This is a temporary independent contractor position)
• Location: USC Campus and Coliseum
Experience/Skills REQUIRED:
• Must be able to lift (20+ pounds)
• Must be able to be on your feet for long hours
• Must be comfortable and able to converse with game day attendees
• Must be comfortable managing a small team of volunteers
• Must be able to take direction well
• Must be a self starter who takes initiative
• Passion for environmentalism and sustainability a huge PLUS
